MISSION AND VISION OF THE PROGRAMME
THE VISION is;
Optimal SRH status in Turkey, in terms of physical, social and mental well-being for the individual and the society.
THE MISSION is;
“Decrease morbidity and mortality through both equal, accessible, and acceptable standardized quality SRH service provision and stakeholder participation.”
The mission will be achieved through:
• Giving priority to the needs of vulnerable groups,
• Encouraging behavior change communication at all levels (policy makers, managers, health service providers and the society),
• Institutionalizing pre-service and in-service training,
• Providing service for all reproductive health components based on needs of clients,
• Providing appropriate equipment,
• Increasing the diversity of service in order to meet needs,
• Encouraging efficiency of CSOs in all relevant fields including community involvement and sustainable CSO-MOH cooperation by implementing the grant scheme,
• Decreasing gender inequality and raising women’s status with the involvement of all stakeholders, and
• Providing correct and relevant information for policymakers and managers through SRH-based research, monitoring and evaluation.
